HOWDY WEEK 2020
Our Mission
"As Asian American InterVarsity, we welcome the Texas A&M communities and individuals into one, inter-connected body. We seek to develop world-changers, led by the Spirit in love, humility, and justice."
Asian American InterVarsity at TAMU works to share God's hope with Asian American students on the college campus. Our hope is that Asian American students will be able to find a space where they can safely pursue a deeper understanding of God's love for them, the value in their ethnic identity, and be developed into future leaders who can change the world.

Small Groups
AAIV hosts weekly small groups. These are spaces for students to be in a smaller community while digging deeper in their relationship with Christ. By joining a small group you will be able to study the Bible alongside other peers and have opportunities to have fun and live life with each other.
Currently, our small groups will be hosted online through Zoom for the Fall 2020 semester
We have general interest small groups, a Southeast Asian student small group that meets weekly!

Our Staff
Mikee Golingo Mikee served as a ministry intern for InterVarsity at the University of Texas (where she also graduated from) for the 2019-20 school year. Through prayerful discernment, she felt God calling her to transfer to serve the movement at Texas A&M University, working with the Asian American chapter. She became the team lead in 2022. |
Jonathan Chan
Jonathan Chan works with the Asian American IV at Texas A&M University. He began his IV career as part-time staff at Rice University. Jonathan was an IV student leader at the University of Houston before joining staff. He has a desire to see campuses and students changed for the glory of God. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys playing piano, singing, and playing ultimate frisbee. |
